Under the patronage of HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, Al-Ghad International Colleges for Applied Medical Sciences held a graduation ceremony of its fourth batch. The batch included 160 graduates from the following specialties: “Emergency Medicine”, “Nursing”, “Medical Imaging”, “Medical Laboratories” and “Health Services Administration”.
The ceremony started by reciting verses from the Holy Quran then Mr. Ibrahim bin Mousa Al-Zwaied, Head of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ghad International Colleges for Applied Medical Sciences took the floor to deliver a speech in which he welcomed the Governor of Riyadh Province and thanked him for sponsoring the ceremony. He also welcomed the students’ parents and expressed his happiness as well as everybody’s happiness for the graduation of the 4th batch of Al-Ghad International Colleges for Applied Medical Sciences in Riyadh. He stressed that the Governor of Riyadh’s sponsorship of this ceremony is considered a recognition to the role of knowledge and students.
He further stated that this nation, along with its wise leaders, spare no effort in offering all means of luxury to the citizens, as well as various services including education which is highly considered and receives special attention by our wise leadership. Education is highly regarded due to its important role in the preparation of Saudi calibers, the achievement of ongoing growth in our country and keeping abreast of international developments in various areas.
Afterwards, Mashour Al-Shamry, one of the graduated students, made a statement on behalf of the graduates. He referred to the knowledge and disciplines he acquired together with his colleagues in Applied Medical Sciences and practical training. He referred to the various facilities provided by the College, such as various laboratories, which played a significant role in linking theory to practice. He expressed his happiness as well as his colleagues’ joy on this day as they reaped the seeds of the hard work they have sown over the past years and pleads to God to further reap the fruits of success in their future endeavors to serve the religion and the nation. In closing his speech, he expressed his thanks to the College leaders for their efforts throughout the educational process.
Later, the Governor of the Province and the attendees watched a visual presentation on the projects of Al-Ghad International Colleges in the Kingdom, its departments, future projects and its educational process.
The Prince inaugurated the permanent premises project for Al-Ghad International Colleges for Applied Medical Sciences in Riyadh. The project complied with the highest quality standards for an advanced, comprehensive educational setting along with all its modern and complete administrative, educational and service facilities.
The adopted designs were in accordance with the highest levels and have been in compliance with the standards of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health after studying various designs for similar international and local educational complexes.
At the end of the ceremony, the Prince honored the distinguished students and the students who won Ibrahim bin Mousa Al-Zwaied’s Award for Excellence throughout eight regions, namely, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, Abha, Tabuk, Al-Qassim and Najran. Memorial pictures were taken with the graduates. The Head of the Board of Trustees offered a memorial shield to the Governor of Riyadh Province.
In a press statement held after the ceremony, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz commended the stages achieved by Al-Ghad Colleges and encouraged the students to pursue their educational process in all specializations to serve the nation.
